Hi, I'm Aliyah, founder and head baker of Sugar Mama's Sweet Shop.
A few years ago, I left a high pressure career in sales after realising I wanted to spend my days creating something that brought people joy. Baking had always been my creative outlet, and when I moved to Stockholm, I found myself missing the bold, colourful American-style cupcakes from home.
So I decided to create Sugar Mama’s and share a little piece of home with Stockholm.
Today, Sugar Mama's has become part of birthdays, weddings, office celebrations, baby showers, and everyday moments across Stockholm. Every cupcake is baked from scratch and decorated by hand with the goal of creating something that doesn't just taste delicious, but makes someone's day a little more memorable.
No matter if you're celebrating life's biggest milestones or simply looking to jazz up an ordinary day, I'd be honoured to be part of the celebration.

Do you offer gluten free and/or vegan cupcakes?

Yes, we offer vegan, gluten-free, and lactose-free cupcake options, and we do our best to accommodate dietary preferences. Please note that our kitchen handles common allergens, so we can’t guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. If you have specific requirements, just let us know when ordering.
How far in advance should I order cupcakes?

Do you deliver?

Yes! We are pleased to offer delivery across Greater Stockholm. Delivery within Stockholm is 449 SEK. For locations outside central Stockholm, we’ll calculate the delivery cost and confirm it with you before you place your order. Need delivery outside these hours? Get in touch—we’ll do our best to help.
Can I pick up cupcakes myself?

Do you have a physical location?

At this time, we do not have a physical shop. If you would like to get your hands on our cupcakes, you are welcome to order online for delivery or pickup.
Do you require a deposit?
Due to the elaborate nature of our cupcakes, preparation for your order begins days in advance, and we bake the cupcakes to order. For this reason, we require a 50% deposit for your order in order to account for all the necessary preparations, and avoid unnecessary food waste.

Where are your cupcakes made?

Our cupcakes, along with every element of our products–including caramels, ganaches, jams, and curds–are all made in house at our home baking studio in Stockholm.
Is there a minimum order quantity?

Our minimum order is 12 standard cupcakes and 24 mini cupcakes. This allows us to prepare your order with care and ensure everything is baked fresh and ready on time. Need fewer cupcakes? Get in touch—we’ll always do our best to help.
